Ok, so this was cute series and I think it is awesome for young adults. It's pretty clean with minimal swearing and a few kissing scenes. They are pretty quick reads, and has a good storyline with dreamy guys included. That being said, this story was so stretched out. Everything could have happened in one book for sure. Also, I did not like America that much. I thought she was annoying and freaking indecisive which drives me so crazy in books! Seriously, it drives me crazy when they pull along two different guys and cry constantly because she is just so in love with both of them.. Don't expect to have any earth shattering revelations about the meaning of life in this series, deep themes and ideas are pretty minimal. The themes that the book does have are easily found in every other dystopian novel you have ever read. But if you're looking for a book that is just purely for entertainment, this is perfect. Everybody needs to read books like these every once in a while. It is pure brain candy and there is nothing wrong with that.
