The only reason I’m deducting half a star is because I selfishly wanted more Ravyn and Elspeth, my precious little dark humans!!! Wow this was such a fulfilling sequel. Had me gasping and screaming and laughing!!! I was concerned I wasn’t going to enjoy the multiple POV but that proved incorrect so quickly. It was an absolute delight being able to live the world through the different characters, each puzzle piece slowly sliding into place. Absolutely, brilliantly written!
