Accidentally in Love by Belinda Missen

3.0

3.5 Okay this was a strange one, I actually really liked the main character, her host of friends and the author’s writing style. But the romance went from zero to 100 in a blink - enemies to lovers is hands down my favourite trope, but I’m not even sure if that’s what this book is meant to be? Kit is really nasty and rude the first few times he meets Katharine, like zero redeeming features flat out nasty - and Katharine is still behaving like she’s attracted to him (which is just bizarre, really) - and then suddenly he isn’t, he’s smiling at her and she’s all “oh he has dimples!” and flirty and rubbing his back in front of people. Like what? Did I miss maybe 5 or 6 chapters of the book somewhere in the middle? It was really bizarre and I couldn’t get behind the romance/ attraction at all. And while it does kind of get somewhat better by the end I just never really warmed up to the guy.
