I don't do self-help books at all, ever, but I have finished very few books in my life where I've thought "wow, I should read that again immediately". It's funny, insightful, takes down some of the simplifications of mental health that pop-psychology has brought, and intelligently lays out how there is nothing wrong with you. It encourages you to work with what you have and figure out how to embrace it. While some of the social commentary is focused on women and how society at large expects women to function, I think this book can apply to anyone at all. So anyway, check it out. It gets a triple thumbs up from me.
