Thanks for the Feedback: The Science and Art of Receiving Feedback Well by Douglas Stone

5.0

(read as physical book)
This was the second time reading Thanks for the Feedback. I like it's focus on receiving rather giving feedback. I've found that other management books say how important it is to give feedback, but don't do a good job of explaining how to give feedback well nor break down what feedback actually is. Thanks for the Feedback does a good job of explaining the different types of feedback (coaching, evaluation and appreciation) by focusing on receiving rather than giving feedback. I like this approach because I believe you need to be able to receive feedback before you can give it. I also like how the book provides a lot of examples and scenarios: it helps the ideas stick.
