Spoiler I considered that Ruthie may be the killer about half way through the book, but it was more of a fleeting thought, not an actuall guess. So props to the author for a truly unpredictable book. The only part that I felt certain about was Seb being the boy that Zahra was cheating with. If I'm being honest, I feel hollow after reading this book (but, like, in a way that only good, devastating books can do). The ending was a shock, and it feels like it carved my heart out. I do feel that there may be potential for a sequel based on the very ending, or possibly a novella.
