Heartstopper Volume 3 by Alice Oseman

5.0

Heartstopper is so powerful, it's hard to explain all the feelings that I experiment when I read it - and I'm obviously not alone in this. A big part of why I love this comic is definitely the protagonists. Both of them are beautiful people in the full sense of the word; and following them, getting to know them, seeing them be happy, understanding all their feelings, makes me feel... alive, and happy... Oh, I'm not a person that likes to say soapy things like that, so imagine the impact this comic has on me!
This story only seems to be improving, and in addition to all the enjoyment of seeing Nick and Charlie hugging and kissing - which is certainly enough to make me love the book - we now also get to know more about their vulnerability, their fears and the realistic situations they have to face as a couple. It only makes me love them more.
Oseman did such a good job in this volume, because in this occasion the book not only touches important and emotional topics, but I actually laughed more than once during this one. I just feel so lucky that I get to read this.
