Honestly, I think I would have liked this a lot more if I hadn’t read AGGGTM. It’s kind of the same story honestly but this one wasn’t as good or exciting for me. The beginning was so slow and boring and I just didn’t connect with the characters really. It has the podcast just like AGGGTM and the whole sister killing sister trope at the end and idk I just think it’s been done one too many times for this book to receive a higher rating. Anna was kind of annoying, I didn’t like Martina or Aster. I didn’t like Anna’s friends or her family idk. It just wasn’t my favorite.
With all that said, I didn’t hate it. I read it in a day so it obviously interested me enough to keep reading. The writing wasn’t bad or anything, I just think the story here has been told a lot already.
