The Body Keeps the Score: Brain, Mind, and Body in the Healing of Trauma by Bessel van der Kolk

4.0

Really important read I think. It confirmed a suspicion I had that the word “trauma” is used a little too casually in modern parlance. Even if you aren’t a victim of trauma this book would be worth reading to understand the world from a new angle and even helped me with dealing with my own feelings and seeing how they present themselves in my body.
