Everything about this story is absolutely perfect. The characters, the body horror, the Christian-inspired cult, the quotes at the start of each chapter, the SYMBOLISM. Amazing action and so moving and, if you can empathize with any of the kids even a little bit it, utterly heartbreaking in the best way.
