I thought this was really smart. I loved all of the Jane Austen references. Loved the “it takes a village” dynamic. Loved how precocious Jess’s daughter, Juno, was. Absolutely LOVED River. Loved the plot. Loved seeing such an independent and stupid smart FMC. Also loved seeing her become a bit more trusting and vulnerable.
