This is my first book of the new year! As a person going through transition, this piece of work was so refreshing and relatable. Obie is such a strong character. A strong representation of the community. Obie faces the joys and, unfortunately, the trials of going through transition. But I could feel the joy and sheer love this book provided. I relished in the achievements, and the good company. I held myself in the trying times that Obie faced with bullying. I was inspired by the determination and love that this book displayed. I throughly enjoyed this book by Bailar; thank you for showing the story of us; thank you for giving us representation; thank you thank you thank you- more than you’ll ever know.
