You Are Not a Before Picture: How to Finally Make Peace with Your Body, for Good by Alex Light

4.0

It's a bit more of a "summarization" of anti-diet culture/body neutrality writing combined with the author's personal journal. But it is an easy-to-read kick in the pants reminder that we don't need to be "fixed" because we aren't a size 2 or that we aren't a "before" version of the "after" we think we ought to be after forcing our bodies through extreme change. (There's also a good bibliography at the back for those who want to do deeper reading dives.)

It was just a really nice, supportive read. And sometimes we need that.
