So I'm only giving this book 3 stars. But I think I'm going to read it again. I really liked the exercises he presented, the stories just did not resonate with me. Also, I listened to this on audiobook, and I don't know... the narrator was alright but it sounded like the author was an arrogant ass. It might have just been me.

I think there was a lot of good stuff here, especially if you are just beginning to deal with your depression. And I think there are a lot of good exercises for noticing and changing your self talk that I am excited to try out.

Once I go through it again I'm sure I'll raise this rating.
