Never Split the Difference: Negotiating as if Your Life Depended on It
by Tahl Raz, Chris Voss
A lot of great information in this book that just doesn’t feel super applicable to me right now. Seems especially helpful for career negotiations (boss, benefits, salary, and so on) and in terms of parenting (when you have a more cognizant child…like a teenager lol) and with relationships…if I cared more about. tbh I think I get scared about feeling manipulative but it seems helpful for improving conversation and taking the high emotion/tension out of some conversations. Forgot to say - seems especially useful for people really high in politeness/agreeableness.
