The Grace Year by Kim Liggett
4.0
Despite some of the larger flaws I found within the story, (like it's not as ~feminist~ as it thinks it is) I still found myself caught up in The Grace Year and devoured the story in about a day.
I think it could have benefited from some shifts in the plot, such as focusing on the banished women vs. the poachers and not relied on basic YA tropes such as a love triangle, but yeaaaa.
This is definitely one of those books I want to revisit in about 6 months to a year and see if I'm still enamored with it. As of now, I really enjoyed it.
I hope the movie comes out of production hell because it has the potential to make a really good film.
