The Upside of Stress: Why Stress Is Good for You, and How to Get Good at It by Kelly McGonigal
3.0
Unlike the Willpower Instinct I don't feel like I had much to learn from this one. But much of it agrees with my own experiences of stress and anxiety. Parts felt a bit repetitive, but I might have missed some nuances. That made the book drag a little for me.
I'm sensitive to toxic positivity, and I don't think this crossed that line. But some people might need to be in the right place for it. When you're in the middle of something it's not always a great time to try and find an upside.
