may 20th, 2021: (originally read) i really loved the concept behind this book, the characters and how integral math was to the story (not just in an offhand, rough way, but truly), but i didn’t like how certain things were executed. to be precise: the first half of the book seemed a bit stilted, a tad instalove, and...honestly, a bit cracked.
so while the overall story made me feel all sorts of warm and soft and every other way you can describe this emoji
