Notes On An Execution follows the final hours of a serial killer’s life while awaiting his fate, while also sharing the stories of the women who were connected to him. The author has done an amazing job of creating a story/character/monster that the reader can empathize with while also raising provoking thoughts in regards to morality, consequence, and retribution.

I’d say this was literary fiction at its finest. This was an all consuming type of read and because of its nature it will stay with you for a long time. Reading this felt as as if it was straight from a true crime documentary.

There’s not enough words or the right words to describe how this exceeded my expectations. I strongly recommend this one for anyone who enjoys a thriller or true crime.
