I LOVED THIS BOOK. bro andrew never misses. it’s weird, dark, gorier than i usually go for but also so so sweet and very queer with extremely good worldbuilding and characters. i read it all in one day bc i was LOCKED IN i was doing like two vocab words in spanish and then reading more. it kept my attention really well!! i didn’t fully understand the flood (especially the timing / history of the world) and while it wasn’t like 100% necessary i wish we had gotten a little more explanation on how the disease actually worked (and was it started by that lady??? or just a random thing???)
loved nick and ben so much i wish we learned a teensy bit more about nick but i was still obsessed with him and their journey together. always obsessed with neopronoun use (even if i thought the little explanation they had to give about how benji knew what they were was kind of silly and on the nose.) and every character was so loveable
