Sense and Second-Degree Murder by Tirzah Price

I found Marianne annoying for most of the book, but to be fair I find her almost as annoying in the original. Like the first book, this is much closer to a remix than a retelling, but I liked the way the story turned out. Although for whatever reason, the decision to rename the Ferrars to the Farrows for no discernable reason really distracted me - all of the other characters retain their original names and I spent an inordinate amount of time with my brain stuck in that. Which is super nitpicky, I realize.
