While the “analogy” of the story and the characters are good, the plot was lack luster. It didn’t feel like there was truly a goal until the last third of the book.

Dane as a character was interesting. His final twist I like. However, his little “romance” with Sloane was creepy. He was at least ten years her senior.

The ending was also a little confusing. I’m still trying to figure out what it meant.
