Two Twisted Crowns by Rachel Gillig

5.0

I cried for like 20 minutes after I finished solely because it felt like saying goodbye to a friend when I had closed the book.

This book focuses more on Elm at first I wasn’t really excited about that, but the more I got of his character and his journey and his healing through his childhood trauma. I was so unbelievably moved to the point of tears throughout the book.

There is something so very healing to see a character feel and go through some thing that I’ve gone through and come out the other side, better than what their family had told him they could be.
