I haven't watched the bachelor, but if you were a fan of that or any of the MTV reality dating shows, this might be the book for you.

The reality show that our main characters Skye and Maya join is about dating their ex again, winning his heart back. Only, Maya doesn't want to date him again, she wants to decimate him for breaking her heart when she was 17. Skye joins the show hoping to get the answer about why Jordy (their ex) disappeared. Both of these women, they're speaking to two reactions I would have had if I was in their situation: answers and revenge.

I found it hard to like Skye at first because it felt as if she was constantly trying to undermine Maya and what she was saying because she had listened to Jordy's narrative on who Maya was as a person. That tension obviously would be there, but it was just so frustrating that she believed everything he said with no questions.

I was wrapped up in this book so quick and the dates and the drama that would unfold and how some people only wanted attention and stardom. It was an interesting take on a reality show dating book, and I honestly felt like it wasn't a cliche novel either. It was very fast paced, and I found that the switch of perspectives was very helpful.
