I Killed Zoe Spanos by Kit Frick
5.0

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️/5. This has an EXCELLENT audio production. Fresh out of high school, hard-partying Anna takes a job nannying in the Hamptons in an effort to separate herself from influences in the city. When she arrives, she finds out that she looks a lot like a girl in the community who went missing six months prior. Anna also seems to think that everything around her is familiar, but her mother swears she has never been to this town before. As she looks into Zoe’s disappearance she realizes that she thinks she just may have been with her that night and confesses to her murder. But things aren’t adding up, and a family friend of Zoe’s is determined to crack the case. This one reminded me a lot of We Were Liars, and I highly recommend it for grades 9+.
