Did not finish book. Stopped at 42%.

I am so disappointed and angry at this book. The plot sounded amazing, the concept (all women/non-binary cast of characters being bad-ass criminals) great. The writting....OMG NO!  It read like a parent trying to sound cool to their kids by writing this hip cool sci-fi. I just got pulled out of the story when there was a current culturally relevant reference that was overexplained  (like the pocket comment) . I just hated reading it and I am upset that this book was a flop.
