the writing was not my cup of tea. I am sad bc i really think this book could have so much potential with the plot and concept! I am always looking for books that have dark academia elements and sapphics, and this was intriguing with the dark history. but it was hard for me to really immerse myself in the world with how simple the writing, world building, and characterization felt.
