The title of this book is well meaning but misleading.

McGonigal isn't telling us that STRESS is good for us in all situations. She presents the idea that stress in and of itself can be beneficial or harmful but that depends on how we react and view the stress. Our mindset about stress and how we persevere are much more important than the stress itself.

Very well written. Lots of practical advice and stories. Will change how I look at stress in the future.
