I picked up The Poet X from my in-class library yesterday because I needed something to read after I DNF-ed a different book and was not disappointed. I’m not the biggest fan of poetry, I usually hate it, but this book was so good. I loved how this book was structured and loved how the titles of each entry went with the stanzas of the poems Xiomara was writing. I also loved the story and how I feel like we got such an in depth look at Xiomara.
