Designed to actually help change the way you think, if you put the work in, you can see your perspective change and your mood lift. And this isn't just a read for people who are depressed or negative Nancys; it's generally helpful for everyone. I always keep it out and reread certain sections to ease anxiety, help accept situations, understand people more.

Often we forget to work on ourselves and our minds. This is something that can help us become more aware of who we are and be able to work on achieving a way of living that would bring us more peace and happiness. Even if you don't read the whole thing, there are sections or exercises bound to help everyone.
