The Silence of Bones by June Hur

4.0

It was refreshing to read a historical mystery that didn't take place in London. I think if you want to read a historical novel that takes place outside of the white-majority world then I recommend picking this one up.

The mystery didn't grip me really, but I really loved Seol. I didn't really care too much what the clues added up to and was more invested in just following Seol.

Great book overall and I'd definitely pick up something by June Hur in the future.
