The Body Keeps the Score: Brain, Mind, and Body in the Healing of Trauma

The book is extremely informative, but a bit flippant in its handling of descriptions of traumatic events and experiences, and at times reads a little bit more as a CV than I think it intends to. I have personal issues with its handling of graphic content, particularly in the way it brings up sexual violence and its superfluous presentation of war crimes, but do think there is value to some of points made about connections between isolating traumatic experiences and groundedness in one's own emotions and physical body. I also found its organization a little confusing and convoluted.
