Bread Alone by Judith R. Hendricks

3.0

I liked the foodie element in this novel even though it's not dug very deeply I think (it doesn't exactly revolves around the bakery and her profession as baker in the later part of the novel). I like how she won't give up without a fight to her husband. The love story made me feel a bit confused,
Spoiler Would have liked her to be with Gary in the end because he sounds amazing but I got a feeling from the beginning it was only a rebound man
. Overall nice. I will continue to read the 2nd book.
