This book took me some time to get invested, but once I was invested, I didn’t want to stop.
The ending truly caught me by surprise because I thoughtJack was going to die and wasn’t at all expecting it to be Ava. The way it devastated me and healed me all at once was not something I expected.
I was listening to the audiobook and, at first, had a hard time keeping up with the timeline. As it got in further, it became more clear if it was a flashback or dream, but I do wonder if it’s the same way in the physical book.
Overall, a good read with some twists I wasn’t expecting.
