A Lesson in Vengeance by Victoria Lee

5.0

A Lesson in Vengeance was exactly what I needed to get out of a small reading slump in August. I remember sitting down during #sapphicathon and basically not moving until I had finished it!

The character building of these pretty strange teenage girls had me hooked and the way Victoria Lee so clearly described the house and events with that creepy feeling played so well into this story. It was one of those books that the second I finished it I contemplated just flipping back to the first page and starting it all over because I just loved the mood it put me in.

Would definitely recommend if you're looking to pick up a spooky dark academia this fall that will have you on the edge of your seat with every twist.
