This is the first book in a new series by Larissa Ione. Set in the same world as the Daemonica series, this new spinoff focuses on the Four Horsemen of the Apocalypse. I really enjoyed this book. Had the easy flow and style that Larissa usually has. Since it's the first in a series, there was a bit of back tracking going on explaining the world and some of the demon characters that fans of Larissa already know. That's understandable though.
I liked Cara and Ares. He's kind of a hard ass but she gets under his skin. She also has some cool powers of her own. They had good chemistry and the love scenes were hot. It was cool to learn about the other Horsemen as well. Love that one of them is a woman. I wish the next book was out already. All in all a great start to a new series. Can't wait to read the next one!
