Charlie and Nick are now officially boyfriends and everything should be great and lovely but life isn't that simple! Nick is not officially "out" yet to the world and both boys must grapple with this, people's reactions, their own personal problems, and just like... being in high school!

I loved seeing their journey unfold. I adore Charlie and Nick. I love how conscious Charlie was of how difficult Nick's position may be and how fragile the balance is. I also appreciated how considerate Nick was both of Charlie's past experience of being bullied, and also of the way Ben treated Charlie when keeping him a secret. Watching these two find their appropriate balance and work up their nerve was beautiful. I just love the way that everyone in this universe acts with such kindness.

I simply don't have anything negative to say about these books. They are beautiful and lovely!

I recommend these to anyone interested in reading them, but especially to those within the target age range or who recall being an LGBT youth.
