Classmates by Asumiko Nakamura
This is specifically a review of the 2014 DMG eBook edition of Classmates by Asumiko Nakamura, the second English edition of three. I also own the Japanese edition, so in comparison and similar to the additional installments in the series (or other titles from DMG) several pages of artwork, comments, and an extra story are missing. This was apparently by decision of the Japanese licensor. However, the quality of the DMG eBook was further not high as it should have been since I also noticed various errors across the board plus poor lettering. There really aren’t good excuses for releasing it with so many faults. I didn’t even buy the DMG eBook until sometime later so it’s even more inexcusable with so much time passing from when the eBook was first put up for sale revisions weren’t made. I also have no idea why it had the explicit content advisory sticker or, a higher suggested age rating. There’s no sex. It’s solely the quality of the DMG release that is reflected in my star rating. The newer 2019 edition from Seven Seas is available also in print.
