I’d like to start by saying I love self help books. If I can better myself and have a better understanding of my handle on my own trauma, so that I can be a better version of myself for not just me - but my friends, partner, family etc - I will happily check out a book that can benefit me in that way. However. This book was written in a “quirky” way. I’m down for swearing, it’s in the title. I get it. I felt like I was reading a frat guys journal who had just had an epiphany and couldn’t stop talking. There are some points where it is fairly informative but I made it halfway through this book (audiobook) and could not finish it. There’s better books out there - like The Myth of Normal by Gabor Maté.
