The descriptions of food in this book are so good I felt inspired to read and write and cook all at the same time. I love Eliza and can’t believe her influence on modern cooking, it was a lovely little history lesson that accompanied the fiction. It would have been a 5 but the ending was rushed and I felt like there were too many plot points left unfinished. Regardless, it was a deliciously delightful book!
