The Grace Year by Kim Liggett

4.0

While this book took me a bit to get into, I really loved the world of this book. Think Hunger Games meets Handmaids Tale with more of an elevated writing style that Suzanne Collins but not so elevated as Margaret Atwood. It's a really nice gateway between the two. I loved the imagery of this book from the flowers to the bones to the red ribbons. It took a bit to get started, but the mind-trip you take is worth the journey in the end.
