Scoff: A History of Food and Class in Britain by Pen Vogler

4.0

An intriguing look at the history of food in Britain, not just British food. Vogler has written it ways not unlike how we eat. Some chapters are snack-sized, others full meals. None are regrettable and definitely worth the “reading” calories, with all apologies to Pru Leith. Well worth a read.
