Okay first off, that acknowledgement is top tier- hands down relatable and iconic. Second, GOD THIS BOOK IS SOO GOOD. The way it is so eloquent and shows both the beauty and horror of the events in Syria. Every character is so lovable, and dare I say, Kenan is the sweetest dude in fiction I’ve ever had the privilege to read. The ending was so sweet, and the plot twist in the middle?? Heartbreaking.
