This post-apocalyptic post-pandemic book was perhaps shockingly good and sweet, although as a YA, some of it just moved a bit too fast.
I thought the main characters were really enjoyable and easy to empathize with, as with most of the secondary characters. I wish Cora had been a bit more developed though.
As a pandemic book, I thought this author did quite well developing the world the characters were living in. I also found that making them in a post-COVID world where we seemingly learned nothing was a strong choice that actually made this world more engaging!
