This book kept me reading through the night. I guess I really like rough around the edges heroines. Charlie is a con artist trying to keep out of trouble and live a normal life, but trouble keeps finding her. I liked the detective story with a couple of heists thrown in structure of this book. The magic system is not very well thought out, but I didn't really need it to be.
