Wanderers by Chuck Wendig

5.0

I was telling my friend Jeff that this book shocked me with its awesomeness. I learned of Chuck Wendig first through The Self-Publishing School Podcast so I visited his blog. Loving the blog, I sought him out on Twitter. Oh! Chuck has a mid-six-figure following.

Looks like someone's late to the party. So I grabbed a copy of Wanderers from the library and instantly lost my mind with delight. This is a pandemic book written before COVID that got many of the details eerily correct. It's a huge, brave, sprawling narrative that reminds me of Stephen King in tension and character development and early Jonathan Letham in heart.
