What are secrets but things we want to forget? Why do we keep the acquittance of those who remember them?
What an intense read! Loved it! What the book does in the last 50 pages/30 minutes will just blow your mind.
The book starts off with the lives of our characters at Baxter Beach, Barbados where poverty and theft are rampant. It talks about the injustices faced by women and the patriarchy they are subjected to in the country.
It's a book about domestic violence, social injustice and racism. A great and an intense read!
