Trying Not to Try: The Art and Science of Spontaneity by Edward Slingerland

Touches on the concept of "flow" and references Kahneman (of "Thinking Fast and Slow"). I found it way more interesting and/or readable than Thinking Fast & Slow, which I had to give up on only a couple chapters in. Like the additional mix of eastern philosophy.

Takeaways
- We do our best work in a natural, relaxed state. However, conscienceless effort to reach that state typically backfires.
- There is something really attractive about effortlessness. It can in theory be practiced and learnt in time.
- Cold hard logic only goes so far, gotta go with the gut now and then.
