I liked the feminism in this book and the world it was set in. The truth behind the deathshrieks was also interesting (in a good way).

However I felt that many things like the romance and the complete change in what Deka believed in at the end were extremely rushed and therefore felt pretty random and not convincing.
I‘m still planning on reading the rest of the series because as I said I like the ideas behind it and am also hoping that it will maybe get better.
