The Power of When: Discover Your Chronotype--And the Best Time to Eat Lunch, Ask for a Raise, Have Sex, Write a Novel, Take Your Meds, an by Michael Breus
2.0
I wanted to like this and have it shift my habits. While the text describing some of the science was worth reading, I felt like the chronotypes ultimately were similar to horoscopes as I could find parts of myself in all of the descriptions. Don’t waste your time with this book/read this hoping for feasible recommendations if:
-you have a job anywhere traditional that doesn’t let employees run their schedules and infuse personal life (i.e., naps?!) into the work day (aka anywhere but Google )
-you have a job that requires you wake up prior to 6am
-you have kids
this book was a major womp womp for me. Would have been one star except the sleep and eating science was interesting
